Hi Crazy Fans!

It's a brand new month which means it's time to introduce a new challenge hostess which is me ... Frances Byrne. 

Our Guest Designer for August is Vicki Garrett of Summerthyme Studio. Vicki was one of the original founders of Crazy 4 Challenges along with myself and Cindy Haffner, so it is awesome to have her joining us this month for our challenges.

Now onto our challenge for this week ..... 

Apparently today is Sandcastle Day, so let's include sandcastles on our card this week … if you don't have sandcastles, sand or anything beach related will do.

Now let's see what our Design Team have created for this week's challenge.

Karen here with my final challenge as July's hostess here at Crazy4Challenges. This is a personal one. The start of this challenge is my son's 25th birthday. I have nothing but sons, and I am in CONSTANT search of inspiration for birthday cards for them. 

Challenge:  Create a masculine birthday card

Hi Everyone, 

It's Karen O here - hostess for July! The hot weather is here where I live, so hot you can fry an egg on the sidewalk....or a chicken! Speaking of frying, today is National Fried Chicken Day in the U.S.! Who knew?!

Our challenge this week is to create something with a bird on it.

Tribute To Joanne Grzelak

Hi everyone,

As many of you may have already heard by now, our friend and fellow Design Team member passed away suddenly on the 25th May 2019. Joanne had been battling a few health issues recently so hadn't played along with the challenges for a few months, but she was looking forward to getting back into her stamp cave so you could play again.

Joanne was one of the foundation members of our Crazy 4 Challenges challenge blog being one of the first members Vicki Garrett, Cindy Haffner and I (Frances Byrne) invited to join our Design Team when we first started this challenge blog back in September 2009.

Joanne was very much loved in the stamping community and was very active on Splitcoast Stampers going by the name of Jojot.  Joanne had two blogs The Inky Ocean Gazer and The Inky Ocean Gazer 2. 

 Today we have asked the members of the two challenge Design Teams she was in CCEE Stampers and Crazy 4 Challenges and a few special stamping friends to join us in this special tribute blog hop to honour our stamping friend by either:

1. Create a card depicting one of the things she loved which included:

• The Ocean
• Lighthouses
• Black and White Cards (Joanne created the most wonderful Black & White Cards)
• Her Dogs
• Paper Piercing
  

2. CASEing a card Joanne created on either of her blogs  The Inky Ocean Gazer and The Inky Ocean Gazer 2 or SCS Gallery
